A court has heard how a taxi driver was beaten with a g look at this now.ass bottle. He also suffered injuries in what gardai consider was a dispute over a fare after being bitten, punched and kneed. The court heard how Crowley (27) was arrested near the scene a short time afterwards. He made no reply after he was charged but Fitzgerald (22) said she was sorry for what occurred to the taxi man. Crowley was refused bail because of the severity of the charge and the evidence gathered by gardai, while his co-accused was remanded bond until September.
